Its Comic Relief Day today and Gravitas is doing its bit to support those less fortunate than ourselves. We are supporting a charity today that is very close to the heart of one of our employees - Richard Neville. Richs partners mother, Suzie, has been diagnosed with malignant peritoneal mesothelioma which is a rare form of cancer for which there is very limited treatment and no cure to-date. Due to the small number of cases in the UK (Suzie is thought to be the only woman to have been diagnosed in the UK) the majority of treatment hospitals are in America, meaning Suzie will have to self fund her own treatment. Suzie, her family and close friends have set up a non-profit making organisation - called Suzie Jeng - Grant our Mummys Wish, in anticipation of raising £5000 in order to be registered as a charity.
