SQL Database Administrator/Developer (DBA) with business intelligence skills in SQL Server 2005/2008 (ideally 2008r2) and SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is required for a large retail company in London
SQL Server Database Administrator/Developer (DBA) with SSIS and SSRS skills, will oversee the companies large Database within a team environment and be required to design, develop and be involved in system testing of interfaces between SQL server databases.
SQL Server Database Administrator/DBA will work across the full software development lifecycle (strategy through to execution and warranty) and must have excellent SSIS (SQL Server Integrations Service) skills
You will provide DBA services including; backup and recovery, database security, database performance and data transfers. You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and periodically testing a backup and recovery plan for the SQL databases.
You will also be required to develop SQL reports using Reporting Services.
The successful SQL Database Administrator will enjoy a challenging role with exciting opportunity to develop their skills using SQL Server and the Business Intelligence Tools within a global company with an expanding team.

-Proven SQL development MS SQL Server 2000/2005/2008
-SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)

-Proven DBA experience
-SQL Server database engine,
-Experience across the full software development lifecycle (strategy through to execution and warranty)

-Excellent communication skills as you will be dealing directly with business users
-Underwriting packages experience

The successful DBA/Developer can earn up to £60k (depending on experience)
