Embedded Software Engineer, C/C++ ARM Processors. My clients are looking for three Embedded Software Engineers for a 6 Months contract in Bristol or Cambridge site, who will be responsible for the development of automotive-based real-time analysis software on an embedded platform.
An understanding of Engines and automotive electronics (sensors and systems) would be an advantage.
Must have a broad experience with electronic control systems development in an embedded environment with the following:
- Embedded C code development
- Strong working knowledge of ARM processors
- Embedded C/C++/assembly,
- System analysis and design,
- System modelling,
- Automated testing,
- Safety-critical systems,
Must know how to use and setup development tools for microcontrollers (compilers/linkers/make), static code checkers, emulators/debuggers,
Some knowledge on the use of CANoe/CANAlyzer or CANBUS will be beneficial.
Should have used configuration management tools and issue tracking tools
Skills and Experiences
Proven track record in the development of C software
Must have a hand's on approach and good all round technician abilities.
Confident and professional as a representative of the company in front of customers.
